Iva Marie Milbrandt
April 27, 1921 — May 24, 2015
Dear mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Iva Marie Milbrandt passed away Sunday morning, May 24, 2015, at ManorCare Health Services in Aberdeen, SD.
Iva was born to Eddie and Ida (Nerlien) Seagren at Tuttle, ND, on April 27, 1921. She played basketball for Tuttle High and graduated in 1937. She was voted Queen while attending Remly's Beauty School in Aberdeen. While Iva worked at Ann Wenn's Hairstyling, she met Lester E. Milbrandt and they were married in 1945. Iva was later employed by the Elks Club and retired after 35 years. She made many great friends at the Elks.
She was an avid Crossword, Scrabble, and card player until the last days of her life.
Her memorial service will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 624 N. Jay Street, Aberdeen, with Rev. Tyler Poppen officiating.
Burial will take place at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Columbia, SD.

Iva is survived by her children: Dennis (Barbara) Milbrandt of Huron, Debbie (Rob) Mack of Aberdeen, and Kirk Milbrandt of Huron; her sisters: Evva Peterson of San Luis Obispo, CA, and Naomi Pulling of Aberdeen; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Iva was preceded into death by her husband, Les; a daughter, Connie Marie Weisenburger; two sisters, Albertine and Florence; and one brother, Oscar.
