Georgia Lee Robinson, affectionately called “Gigi” by her loved ones, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Avera St. Luke's Hospital at the age of 79.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Schriver's Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Time for fellowship and a light meal will follow at Schriver's Memorial Fellowship Center.

Georgia Lee Parnell was born on August 8, 1946, in Peoria, Illinois, to Alan and Alberta Parnell. Georgia kept her early life very private. In 1972, Georgia met Dennis Robinson in Aberdeen, SD. They created a blended family with children Kevin and Kathy, and later expanded their family with the addition of Denis and Jason. Georgia began working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Rapid City, SD, and later as a lunch lady in Mobridge, SD. She then went on to work at New Evarts Resort in Glenham, SD, which she took great pride in. When all her children started having kids, she stopped working and took on her favorite role yet: being a grandma. She would gladly babysit all the time and loved spending time with her grandchildren, creating precious memories.

Georgia loved to do arts and crafts, tend to her vegetable garden, and play bingo with a Diet Coke in hand. If you showed up with a snack-sized Reece’s, she would send you back to get the bigger one! She also had a chocolate lab named Morgan, whom all her grandkids loved. If you didn’t find Georgia out playing nickel bingo, she was probably in her room watching game shows or old westerns on TV.

Georgia is survived by her two daughters: Kathy (Matt) Pfaff of Columbia, SD, and Denise (Chris) Vetter of Selby, SD; two sons: Kevin of Grand Meadow, MN, and Jason of Mobridge, SD; twelve grandchildren: Andy, Andrew, Emily, Autumn, Jaysen, Kyra, Matthew, Mason, Brady, Grant, Ally, and CJ; and 11 great-grandchildren: Tucker, Madilyn, Brantley, Grace, Audrey, Evelynne, Aesile, Emberlie, Kashton, Kohlson, and Clementine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alan and Alberta; husband, Dennis; and sister Pam Spencer.
