Gail was born on January 14, 1960, to Allen and Dorothy Zeller in Aberdeen, SD. Gail graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1978. She then attended Northern State University where she earned a degree in Elementary Education.
She pursued a career in teaching and helping children which was closely followed by a career in Daycare. She greatly enjoyed her work and loved all the children as if they were her own. She made very close family ties with her daycare families who love her still to this day.
Gail married Douglas Carl Stotz on April 23rd, 1983. They enjoyed 38 years of marriage, during which they raised four loving children and were blessed with six grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.
She was such a thoughtful person and was always thinking of others before herself. Cooking, baking, reading, knitting, crocheting brought her great joy, especially when doing so for her family and friends. Gail loved fishing, the outdoors, and anything adventurous. She also could often be found gardening and tending to her many plants and flowers around the house.
Gail will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She left a deep and lasting impression on anyone she met and was known for her unconditional kindness and zest for life. Gail was an extraordinary individual who found the strength and courage to endure and carry on in spite of overwhelming obstacles. She was a true inspiration.
She is survived by her husband Doug; daughter: Sarah (Adam) Pugmire, their children Mason, Crue, Elijah, and Everly; sons: Nicholas (Erin) Stotz, their children Kurtis and Zachary, and Ben (Randi) Stotz, and Charlie Stotz.
