Florence C. Wolf, 90, of Aberdeen, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 7, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 409 3rd Avenue SE, Aberdeen, with Father Mark Lichter as celebrant and Father David Janes con-celebrating.

Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements. Friends may sign Florence’s online guestbook and also view her service via the live stream service link at www.schriversmemorial.com.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, at the mortuary, with a liturgical wake service and rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Visitation continues one hour prior to Mass at the church on Friday.

Florence C. Imberi was born December 10, 1927, to George and Anna (Meier) Imberi in Hillsview, SD.

Florence was united in marriage to Lawrence J. Wolf in Hillsview on September 29, 1947. They made their home in Hillsview, until they moved to Aberdeen, SD in 1959.  Florence, together with her husband, raised four boys, who were her pride and joy. She also devoted many years of her life to healthcare. Lawrence passed away on January 24, 2018 and Florence continued to reside in Aberdeen until the time of her death.

Florence was a marvelous cook, which made their home a favorite gathering place for many enjoyable occasions and celebrations. She was also a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and her faith was very important to her.

Grateful and blessed to have shared in Florence’s life are her four sons: Gregory (special friend, Cheryl Finstad) of Aberdeen, Tobias (Kathy) of Aberdeen, Dominic (Tracy) of Nemo, SD and Nicholas (Marcie) of Richfield, MN; four grandchildren: Milissa Wolf, Jennifer (Jay) Kurth, Matthew Wolf, and Nicole Wolf; five great-grandchildren: Anna Moser, Blaise Kurth, Boden Kurth, George Jegela, Gianna Jegela and Gracelyn Jegela; one sister, Sr. Georgianne “Theresa” Imberi; three sisters-in-law: Helen Imberi, Frances (Dick) Hunter, and Maggie Saunders; one brother-in-law, Pius (Kathy) Wolf; and her special friend, Carol Wolf.

Florence was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 70 years, Lawrence; her parents; three brothers: James, Milton, and Reverend Anthony; and four sisters: Natalia, Patricia, Georgia Ann, and Victorine.
