Ernielee H. Kallenberger, 64, of Aberdeen, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Aberdeen Health & Rehab, surrounded by family.
Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, with Pastor Tim Sersen, of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, presiding.
It was Ernielee's wishes to be cremated with inurnment taking place at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen.
A luncheon and fellowship will immediately follow the memorial service at Schriver's Memorial Fellowship Center.
No visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday. Friends may sign his online guestbook at www.schriversmemorial.com.

Ernielee H. Kallenberger was born on November 23, 1949, to Ernest and Larena (Mehlhaff) Kallenberger in Aberdeen, SD. This is the area where he was raised and attended school. Following graduation from Aberdeen Central High School, Ernielee furthered his education at Northern State University in Aberdeen for one year and then attended vocational school in Rapid City, SD.
Ernielee worked for many years at Riddles Jewelry repairing jewelry. He also had a passion for music and was a talented musician, playing in several bands including: Piston Silver Mountain, White Rock, Owl Creek Rush, The Train, The Blue Angels, and The Society of Sound. Ernie was an avid Bruce Lee fan and spent many hours practicing and studying Tai Chi. He had an eye for beauty as well, often telling the nurses and aides at the nursing home how beautiful they were. His family will miss him very much.
Surviving Ernielee are his sisters: Viola (Jerry) Esser, Larena (Bernel) Swanson and Genie (Pete) Peterson, all of Aberdeen, SD and Rose Kraig of Rapid City, SD; his brothers Erno (Bobi) Kallenberger of Pierre, SD and Gene Kallenberger and Jerry Lee (Sandy) Kallenberger of Aberdeen, SD; four nieces: Stacy Swanson, Evelyn Peterson, Sheryl Peterson and Nicole Eye; and six nephews: Chris Esser, Kevin Esser, Donald (Pete) Peterson, Patrick Peterson, Julian Kraig and Bryan Kallenberger.
Ernielee was preceded in death by his parents and both sets of grandparents.
