Edward "Eddie" J. Weber was born on April 7, 1927, to Joseph and Magdalena (Tuscher) Weber in Ipswich, SD. This is the area where he was raised and attended school.

Eddie was united in marriage to Darlene Marie Stenstrom on November 27, 1946, in Aberdeen. The couple made their home and farmed in the Ipswich area for several years before moving to Aberdeen. While living in Aberdeen, Eddie was employed at the lumberyard, as a milkman, and as a service station attendant before ultimately achieving his dream goal of owning his own business, Eddie's Northside Service Station, in 1969. He and Darlene raised six children and shared over 54 years of marriage before she passed away on June 7, 2001. Eddie continued to make Aberdeen his home until the time of his death.

Eddie was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aberdeen and a supporter of Roncalli High School. He also held memberships in the Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge.

Eddie loved traveling, gambling, and spending time at the lake cabin with his children. He was also a huge fan of "The Price Is Right", which he watched daily. Eddie's greatest loves, however, were his family and their well being and his service station.

Grateful to have shared in Eddie's life are his four sons: Randall (Betty) Weber of Aberdeen, Roger (Connie) Weber of The Villages, FL, Michael (Tammy) Weber of Aberdeen and Darrin (Tangee) Weber of Plano, TX; his two daughters: Charlotte Jensen of Richmond Heights, OH and Janet (Richard) McEwing of Boardman, OH; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, David (Betty) Weber of Aberdeen; and three sisters: Delores Boelter of Sioux Falls, SD, Henrietta Tripp of St. Cloud, MN, and Olivia MacDonald of Sioux Falls, SD.

Eddie is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; his parents; two sisters: Viola Schmidt and Barbara Voller; and one son-in-law, Dennis Jensen.
