Donna Voeller

Donna Lynn Voeller, 65, of Aberdeen, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015, at her home.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, with Father Tom Anderson officiating.
A luncheon and time of fellowship will immediately follow the service at Schriver's Memorial Fellowship Center.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m., Tuesday, at the mortuary.
Donna Lynn (Wolter) Voeller was born on September 16, 1950, in Aberdeen, SD, to Donald Henry and Avis (Thompson) Wolter. She was raised and attended school in Frederick, SD, graduating from Frederick High School with the Class of 1969. Following graduation, Donna began working at the Jack & Jill Grocery store in Frederick and J.C. Penney in Aberdeen.
Donna was united in marriage to Dennis Voeller at Aberdeen, SD, on May 26, 1979. The couple farmed in Frederick until 2008, when ill health forced them to move to Aberdeen. She continued to reside in Aberdeen until the time of her death.
Donna was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, and aunt who was so very giving to her family and friends, but her family meant everything to her. She loved spending time outdoors tending to her yard and garden that had to be "just right" and, much to Denny's dismay, he could never mow it the way it "should" be done! Donna also had a love for companion animals, especially horses, and was an avid horseback rider. Her true passion however, was raising show quality dogs, all of which she was very proud of.
Grateful to have shared in Donna's life is her husband, Dennis Voeller of Aberdeen; one brother, Randy (Betty) Wolter of Frederick, SD; two sisters: Carol (Wayne) Klipfel of Monango, ND and Karen Belau of Brookings, SD; one sister-in-law, Fran Gage of Aberdeen; and nieces and nephews: Andrew, Erin, Faith, Wyatt and William Wolter, Nikki (Cory) Geissinger and son Treyton, Cheryl (Brian) Fehr, Austin, Cole and Samantha Fehr, Shelly Gage, Kelly and Frank Schoumakers.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, John Elliot Wolter.
