Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores Jeanette Lanham, 82, of Aberdeen, will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 409 3rd Avenue SE, Aberdeen, with Father Melvin Kuhn, Celebrant.

Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date.

Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements. Friends may sign her online guestbook at schriversmemorial.com.

Visitation will be 4-5 p.m., Sunday, at the mortuary, with a Liturgical Wake Service being held at 5:00 p.m. Visitation continues one hour prior to Mass at the church on Monday.

Dolores passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014, at her home in Aberdeen.

Dolores Jeanette Haney was born November 9, 1932, to John Oliver and Ella Blanche (McSpadden) Haney in Anadarko, OK.

Dolores was united in marriage to Arthur F. Lanham on April 28, 1953, in Oklahoma. To their union four children were born. The family lived in Watertown, SD and Sioux Falls, SD before settling in Aberdeen, where Dolores was employed for 23 years at Sears.

Dolores enjoyed playing cards, walking, and line dancing with friends. Above all, she loved her family.

Surviving Dolores is her husband, Arthur Lanham; children: Terri Mitchell, Ann Hegge, Pat (Doug) Goth and Chuck (DonaRae) Lanham; grandchildren: Cory (Seth) Heitzman, Rebecca (Andy) Carrendar, Chase Lanham and Mackenzie Lanham; siblings: Audra (Lester) Hunt and JR (Jean) Haney; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Oliver and Ella Haney; and three brothers: Otho (Ruby) Haney, Otis (Viola) Haney and Kilbren (Zelma) Haney.
