Cynthia Kiefer

Cynthia Kiefer, 64, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Sanford Select Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD.

Cynthia’s wishes were to be cremated with no formal services held. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Cynthia Elain Cundiff was born on March 2, 1958, to Charles and Sue (Agee) Cundiff, in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. She moved to Sierra Vista, AZ, as a young adult.

Cynthia married Rodney Joseph Kiefer on June 11, 1993, and the couple moved to Aberdeen, SD, in the spring of 1994. She worked in the service industry. Cynthia enjoyed horses and motorcycles.

Cynthia is survived by her son, Duker (Jenny) Cundiff, of Aberdeen, SD; daughter, Angela (Joe) Kokales, of Aberdeen, SD; grandchildren: Taye, Autumn, Ava, Bryce, Tristen, Kyra, and Krissa; and one great-grandchild Cuyler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodney; and two brothers.
