Curtis Earl Schumack, 71, passed away Friday, February 21, at 8:24 a.m. at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen, SD.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Schriver's Memorial Chapel, with a luncheon to follow at Best Western Ramkota Hotel in Aberdeen.

Curtis Earl Schumack was born March 14, 1953, to Edmond and Bertha (Schock) Schumack in Ipswich, SD. He grew up in Aberdeen with four siblings: Willard, Lloyd, Jerry, and Joan.
After completing his schooling, Curt worked as a foreman for the Aberdeen City Sanitation Department for many years and later worked for the Ethanol Plant in the train yard until his retirement.
Curt was united in marriage to Pamela Aman on May 11, 1972, and they had two daughters: Kristal and Kendra. Together, Curt and Pamela enjoyed spending time with their eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Curt enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his deepest passion was riding his Harley Motorcycle.
Grateful for having shared Curt’s life are his wife of 52 years, Pamela; one daughter, Kristal (Brian) Koens; grandchildren: Heather (Travis) Reeb, Amanda (Brandon) Isebrand, Bria Helmes, Bailey Biegler, Mitchell Koens, Sierra Biegler, Jayden Biegler, and Syrus Burgous; great-grandchildren, Tryton Isebrand, Hayden VonEye, Taylen VonEye, Grayson Isebrand, Steven Isebrand and Zainyn VonEye; brother, Jerry (Peggy) Schumack; sister-in-law, Joanne Schumack; and brother-in-law Robbert Scheett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond and Bertha; daughter, Kendra Angel; siblings: Willard, Lloyd (wife Shirley), and Joan Scheett.
