Colleen Orr

Colleen Orr, 64, of Aberdeen, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016, at Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center.

Her memorial service will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the Eagle's Club, 316 South 2nd Street, Aberdeen, SD.

Colleen's wishes were to be cremated with burial taking place at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Aberdeen at a later date.

Colleen Webb was born September 10, 1951, to Harvey and Marie (Hovrud) Webb in Aberdeen, where she was raised and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School. She also attended Stewarts School of Hairstyling in Aberdeen. Colleen worked at Northern State College for several years.

Colleen was united in marriage to Robert Orr on May 10, 1980, in Aberdeen. The couple made Aberdeen their home where they managed the 5th Avenue Apartments for over 20 years. In 2003, they moved to a farm near Pilger, NE. In 2014, she returned to Aberdeen due to health problems.

Colleen enjoyed listening to music and spending time outdoors. She especially looked forward to and enjoyed going pheasant, deer, and elk hunting. Above all, Colleen loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Grateful to have shared in Colleen's life are her husband, Bob Orr of Aberdeen; her children, Bob (Marcia) Orr of Virginia Beach, VA and Bobbi (Dean) Bateman of Aberdeen; six grandchildren: Brianna Lubiens of Aberdeen, Brittni Jones of Pierre, SD, Brooke Lubiens of Aberdeen, and Caroline Orr, Hannah Orr, and Robert Orr, all of Virginia Beach, VA; one great-grandchild, Lavender Halstead; three brothers: Brian Webb of Norfolk, NE, Barry Webb of Rapid City, SD, and Jerry Webb of Hill City, SD; two sisters, Charleen Engelhart of Aberdeen and Carol (Jerry) Skaare of Glendale, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.

Colleen is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Marie; and three brothers: Gary, Steve, and David.

Honorary pallbearers will be all of Colleen's many nieces and nephews.
