Clara Lynn Hauck was born on April 7, 1934, in rural Aberdeen, SD, to Adam J. and Anna (Bullock) Hauck. She attended Wetonka Elementary School and later attended one year at Mount Marty before graduating from Aberdeen Central High School. Following graduation, Clara began working as an operator for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company and remained there for many years.

Clara was united in marriage to Robert A. Beilke in Aberdeen on January 10, 1955. The couple moved to Norfolk, VA, due to Robert's enrollment in the United States Navy. While in Norfolk, Clara & Robert started their family with the birth of their first daughter. Following Robert's honorable discharge, the family moved to Aberdeen, where they continued to reside while adding four sons and another daughter to their family. Clara and Robert shared nearly 52 years of marriage before he passed away in October of 2007. She continued to make Aberdeen her home until the time of her death.

Clara enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and baking apple pies. She was also an avid animal lover. Clara never missed a birthday and it was very important to her to celebrate "Sister's Day" every year.

Blessed to have shared in Clara's life are her children: Cindy (Gary) Olson of Aberdeen, Angela (Steve) Cole of Dickinson, ND, Mark Beilke of Edina, MN, Brian (Jackie) Beilke of Sioux Falls, SD, and Greg Beilke of St. Louis Park, MN; ten grandchildren: Becky Omland, Matthew Olson, Ava Beilke, Brett Beilke, Jessica Peterson, Adam Beilke, Grant Beilke, Kaija Beilke, Chance Cole and Connor Cole; eleven great-grandchildren: Austin Omland, Koby Rux, Sydni Rux, Quentin Hacker, Miles Omland, Mara Omland, Emmett Omland, Wyatt Olson, Bryson Olson, Liam Olson and Clara Olson; two brothers: Joe Hauck and Ron (Marcia) Hauck, both of Aberdeen; and one sister, Sister Jean Marie Hauck of Huntsville, AL.
