Carol Joyce Schuck

Carol Schuck, 91, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Bethesda Home of Aberdeen.

Carol's wishes were to be cremated, and no formal services will be held. Interment will take place at Groton Union Cemetery.

Carol Joyce Wing was born on July 23, 1935, to Raymond B. and Ruth (Herron) Wing in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She grew up in the area, graduated from Groton High School, and attended Northern State College for two years.

Carol married John Schuck on June 2, 1962, in Aberdeen. They made Aberdeen their lifelong home and shared many happy years together.

Carol worked as a bookkeeper for Hatterscheidt Company and later for McFarland Supply Company Inc. 

In her free time, Carol enjoyed painting and crocheting. She found joy in being creative and spending time with the things she loved.

Carol is survived by her nephew, Lee Wing, of La Grande, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Schuck, and her parents, Raymond and Ruth Wing.

Carol will be remembered for the life she shared with those around her and the many memories she leaves behind.
