Carol D. Limoges, age 86, of Vancouver, WA, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2013, in Vancouver, WA.

Funeral Services will be 9:00 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2013, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1620 Milwaukee Avenue NE, Aberdeen, with Pastor Jeff Whillock presiding. Burial takes place at the Hecla Cemetery in Hecla, SD.

Schriver's Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is handling arrangements.

Visitation will from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Friday.

A celebration of life will be held in Omaha at a time and place to be announced.

Memorial contributions to benefit the South High Business Education Department may be made to: Omaha Public Schools Foundation, 3215 Cumings Street, Omaha, NE 68131.

Carol D. Fetherhuff was born on November 9, 1927, in Maxbass, ND, to Harold and Lillian (Anderson) Fetherhuff. She was raised in Herreid, SD, where she excelled as a student. Carol attended the University of South Dakota and Northern State Teacher's College (now Northern State University) in Aberdeen, SD where she completed an undergraduate degree and a master's degree in Business Education.

She moved with her three young sons to Omaha where she began her career teaching typing, shorthand, and office practices at South High School. As job coordinator for the business department, Carol placed many students into office employment in various businesses in Omaha. She enjoyed such activities as applying makeup to actors in school plays and keeping score for the girls' volleyball team.

After a thirty-year career at South she retired and was involved in the many activities she enjoyed, including travel, cooking, wine-making, reading, and meeting with friends both old and new. She was a friendly and fun-loving person with diverse interests. Carol was a long-time member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Omaha.

She is survived by her sons: Barry (Sue) Limoges of Sanford, NC, Brian (Nieves) Limoges of Horseshoe Bay, TX, and Craig Limoges of Vancouver, WA; her sister, Janice Schlachter of Gettysburg, SD; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Carol's parents and one brother, Bruce Fetherhuff, preceded her in death.
