Beverly Klepetka, age 93, died on Monday February 16, 2026 at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen, South Dakota following a brief illness.
Beverly's wishes were to be cremated, and no formal services will be held at this time.
Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.schriversmemorial.com.

Beverly Elaine Theresa Stavens was born in Hatton, North Dakota on May 6, 1932 to Ida Stavens (nee Sanda) and Gilman Stavens. She was raised on her parent’s farm in Steele County, North Dakota. The household spoke both English and Norwegian.
Beverly began her education by driving a cart and pony to Newburgh #5, a one room schoolhouse. After receiving her diploma from Hatton High School, she graduated from Aakers Business College and attended the University of North Dakota.
On October 5, 1957, Beverly married Victor Klepetka at Little Forks Lutheran Church in Traill County, North Dakota. The couple resided in Grand Forks, North Dakota where Beverly gave birth to their daughter Rhonda on October 7, 1958.
Beverly was employed as a secretary before joining the Grand Forks County Registrar’s office. The family relocated to Bismarck, ND, Minot, ND and Aberdeen, SD.
Beverly co-founded Klepetka Advertising Company with her husband Victor. They travelled frequently since their customers were located across multiple states and counties. Following Victor’s passing, Beverly continued leading the firm’s operations until her retirement at age 85.
Completion of a videography course on her 80th birthday cruise was the beginning of Beverly’s content creation hobby. She was also an avid walker who used her treadmill daily. Beverly enjoyed traveling, whist, bridge, family and community celebrations.
Beverly is survived by her daughter Rhonda and son-in-law Nathan Itkin of Paradise Valley, AZ and brother Gilman Stavens, Jr of Bothell, WA.
She was preceded in death by her husband Victor and parents Ida and Gilman Stavens, Sr.
