Bea was born October 12, 1936, to Thomas and Margaret (Rowe) Kelly in Forbes ND. She attended Ellendale High School and worked as a waitress.

She married Jerry Burton Hermansen on Nov. 30, 1955, in Ellendale. She enjoyed spending time visiting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a very caring wife and mother. She spent several years caring for her husband, while continuing a close relationship with her children, family, and friends.

Surviving Beatrice are her four children: Kim Hermansen, Alan (Rodeen) Hermansen, Jeffrey (Belinda) Hermansen and Sandy Smith. She is also survived by one brother, Tom (Gladice) Kelly; and three sisters: Janice Wilson, Bernice Carlson, and Donna Rymer; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerry Hermansen; brother, Lawrence Kelly; and sister, Margaret Fleming.

Honorary pallbearers will be all of Bea's friends.
