Angela L. “Angie” Berget, 89, of Aberdeen, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at the Groton Care and Rehabilitation Center in Groton, SD.

Her wishes were to be cremated.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, with Father Mark Lichter officiating.

A luncheon and time of fellowship will immediately follow the service at Schriver’s Memorial Fellowship Center.

Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Aberdeen.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary on Saturday.

Angie was born May 19, 1928 in Aberdeen, SD.  This is the area where she was raised and attended St. Mary’s Parochial School.

Angie worked at Americana Nursing Home for a period of time before becoming employed as a nurse’s aide at St. Luke’s Hospital, where she worked for many years.

In her spare time, Angie enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, and reading.

Blessed to have shared in Angie’s life are her children eight children; one brother; one sister; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Angie was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; both husbands; and one granddaughter.
