Violet (Geiszler) Reinbold was born on June 22, 1929, to John and Fredericka (Walz) Geiszler in Kulm, ND.  At a young age, Violet moved with her family to Ellendale, ND, where she attended school.  In her teenage years, Violet was employed for several years at Nodak Café in Ellendale before moving to Aberdeen.

Violet was united in marriage to Lawrence Reinbold on September 10, 1951, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aberdeen.  The couple made Aberdeen their home, where in addition to being a wife and mother, Violet began a career in retail, working at Sears and Herbergers for many years.  Following her retirement, Violet was employed part-time for the Northeast Head Start Program.  Violet and Lawrence raised four children and shared 65 years of marriage before he passed away on November 6, 2016.  Violet continued to reside in Aberdeen until the time of her death.

Violet was an active, life-long member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she was a member of the choir.   In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards. Violet was also an avid bowler and a member of the Women’s bowling league for many years.
