Frank William Schwab, 90, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Avera Mother Joseph Manor in Aberdeen.
Frank’s wishes were to be cremated. His graveside committal service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2019, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Aberdeen with Father Andy Thuringer officiating.
Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.

Frank William Schwab was born June 26, 1929, to John and Minnie Schwab in Aberdeen, SD. This is the area where he was raised and attended school.
Frank was united in marriage to Maryann Young in Aberdeen on April 15, 1948. The couple made Aberdeen their home, where Frank was employed as a Lineman for Northern Electric. They then resided in Oceanside, CA for 20 years and in Kingman, AZ for 20 years before returning to Aberdeen in 2012. Frank and Maryann raised two children and shared nearly 67 years of marriage before she passed away on March 31, 2015. Frank continued to reside in Aberdeen until the time of his death.
Blessed to have shared in Frank’s life is his daughter, Linda Kay (David) White of Fredericksburg, VA; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Maryann; his son, Richard Schwab; his parents; five sisters; and two brothers.
