Alice Margaret (Roth) Rempher

Alice Margaret Rempher, 78, Spring Park, MN and formerly of Aberdeen South Dakota, was called home to be with her heavenly Father on December 22, 2019. 

A private memorial service for family only has been arranged. Those wishing to honor Alice are invited to join the family in a Celebration of Life at the Dakota Event Center in Aberdeen on Saturday, January 25th from 2-6 p.m.

Alice was born on May 25, 1941 to John & Leontina (Ehnes) Roth. She graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1959. Alice married Vernon Rempher on February 8th, 1960 in Aberdeen South Dakota at which time they made their home on a farm in Mina, South Dakota. Alice and Vernon later moved to Aberdeen, which was their home until 2011 when they moved to Spring Park, Minnesota.

Alice worked most of her adult life in various establishments around Aberdeen including JJ Newberry Co., Kessler’s, and Manor Care.  For the last several years of her working career, Alice lovingly cared for dozens of children in her in-home daycare.  Alice will be remembered by those left behind as a loving, sweet woman who cared deeply for her family. She will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by one sister; two brothers; two sons, Randy (Vicki) Rempher and Kenneth Rempher (David Idleman); one daughter, Sandy (Randy) Solberg; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; her parents, John and Leontina (Ehnes) Roth; her brother, Roy Roth; and two sisters, Ann Artz and Irene Aipperspach.
