Lynnette Dee Hinshaw was born on November 26, 1955, to Linneous D. and Betty L. Hinshaw in Davenport, IA.  At a young age, Lynnette moved to Northern Wisconsin with her mother. In the early 1970s, they moved to Stillwater, MN, where Lynnette finished her education and graduated high school.  She married Brien Stevensen in the mid-1970s.  The couple was blessed with two sons, Branden and Brent. Lynnette worked in the fast- food industry while raising her children.

In 1986, Lynnette married Randy Johnson.  They made their home in Coon Rapids, MN, until moving to Ferney, SD, in1991, where they have resided since. Lynnette continued her career in the fast-food industry when they moved back.

Lynette was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She had a strong Christian faith and was loved by many. She enjoyed shopping and camping and was an avid cat lover.  She had a special place in her heart for helping others with alcohol and drug addictions.  Her special quote to others was, “Always forgive and live with no regrets.”

Grateful for having shared Lynnette’s life are her husband, Randy; her two sons, Branden (Jaime Howard-Stevensen) Stevensen and Brent Stevensen; her four grandchildren, Benjamin T. Stevensen, Madelynn J. Stevensen, Jadelynne J. Stevensen, and Rylee M. Howard; one brother; and five sisters.

Lynnette was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one daughter Gerilynn Stevensen, in infancy.
