Stacy Richardson & Kaley Thomas

Memorial services for Stacy Michelle Richardson, 42, and infant daughter, Kaley Thomas, of Aberdeen will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, SD with Rev. Jon Droege officiating.

Visitation, with their family present, will be from 7-8 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2011 at the mortuary.

Stacy and her daughter, Kaley, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Blessed be their memory.

Stacy Michelle Swenson was born February 25, 1969 to Roger and Julie (Wheeldon) Swenson at Aberdeen, SD. She attended school at Robbinsdale Cooper High School in New Hope, Minnesota. Stacy furthered her education at Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management in 1997. While attending Presentation College, Stacy worked at the school library. It was during her college years that she met Aaron Jeffrey Richardson. They were later married. The couple moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where Stacy became employed with Bigos Management as a property manager. In 2004, she travelled with her husband to Germany for six months. After returning to Minnesota, they relocated to Aberdeen in 2006. Stacy was most recently employed at the South Dakota School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Aberdeen. She continued to make her home in Aberdeen until the time of her death.

Stacy enjoyed reading, shopping and dining out. She especially loved being with her family and friends.

Surviving Stacy are her son, Eric Honebrink of Fargo, ND; her daughter, Heather Fryer of Aberdeen; her mother, Julie Swenson of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, Chris (Praphasri) Swenson of Milwaukee, WI and Shawn Swenson of Las Vegas, NV; and one sister, Sheila (Dave) Albers of Elk River, MN.

She was preceded in death by her father and infant daughter, Kaley.

Kaley Thomas was born on November 27, 2011 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Kalen Thomas and Stacy Richardson, both of Aberdeen.
