Lowell was born November 8, 1927 in Akron, IA to William and Stella Nall. He was a multiple sport athlete at Akron High School. He was a valuable sales leader for John Morrell and retired as the Aberdeen Branch Manager. He earned the respect of many meat departments and stores with his sales calls and outstanding customer service. With this effort he earned many sales awards with the help of Morrell employees and loyal customers. One of the highlights was a trip to the 1978 World Series when the theme song for the Pittsburgh Pirates was We Are Family. A song that was very symbolic of Lowell's dedication to his family.

He treated all the students of Roncalli as if they were his family. He loved flower gardens. He and his wife spent many hours developing a beautiful front and backyard they enjoyed sharing with family and friends.
