Mary Ann Antanitis

Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Ann Antanitis, 66, of Aberdeen, will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2011, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 409 2nd Avenue NE, Aberdeen with Fr. J. Joseph Holzhauser officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Aberdeen. Schriver's Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.

Liturgical wake service will be 7 p.m., Sunday, November 6, 2011, at the mortuary. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday at the mortuary and one hour prior to the Mass on Monday, at the church. Friends may sign her online guest book at the bottom of the page.

Mary Ann passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at ManorCare Health Services.

Mary Ann Murray was born November 2, 1945 to Hugh and Louise (Wolf) Murray at Menomonie, Wisconsin.

Mary was united in marriage to Carl Antanitis on February 6, 1965 at Menonomie, WI. Their union was blessed with two sons and two daughters. They moved to Aberdeen in 1972, where Mary cared for the elderly as a dedicated nurse for 33 years at the Aberdeen Living Center.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. Blessed be her memory.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Carl of Aberdeen; her children: James (Julie) Antanitis of Aberdeen, Michael (Amanda) Antanitis of Ellsworth, WI, Peggy (Mike) Berg of Cottage Grove, MN and Louise (Micah) Malsom of Eureka, SD; and grandchildren Madeleine, Steven, Sydney, Sadie, Preston and Mikaela. Also surviving Mary are her siblings, Pat Webb, Bill Murray, Betty Wilting and Jack Murray, all of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Louise Murray and her brother, Jimmy Joe.
