Lucille Huettl

Mass of Christian Burial for Lucille Huettl, 92, Westport, will be 10:30am Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Westport, with Father Edward Pierce officiating.  Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Westport, SD.

Liturgical wake service will be 5:30pm Friday, February 18, 2011 at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Ave. NW.  Visitation will be 4-5:30pm Friday, at the mortuary and one hour prior to the Mass on Saturday, at the church.

Lucille passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Aberdeen Health & Rehab.

Lucille was born December 19, 1918 to Joseph and Henrietta (Laux) Huettl on the family farm in Brown County, SD.  She attended country school and graduated High School.  She lived at home and helped on the farm.  Later she moved to Aberdeen where she was employed at the Virginia Café for several years.  Lucille has resided at Aberdeen Health & Rehab for the past 3 years.

She is preceded in death by, her parents and three brothers. Lucille is survived by many nieces and nephews and their familes. Pallbearers will be Roger Huettl, John Huettl, Dan Huettl, Steve Huettl, Gary Huettl and Richard Huettl.

Offertory gifts will be presented by her nieces.  Lector will be Ron Huettl. The organist will be Gwen Achen and several family members will be placing the Pall.
