I look at that smiling face of Tom's and will always have that memory of him. Tom called on my husband Tom and myself at the Faulkton Drug for many, many years and no matter what was going on in his work or personal life that smile was the first thing we would see when he walked in the door. Over the years we shared so many stories of our families and all the activities we were all involved in. He may have been one of Jewett's salespersons but to us he was one of their "best guys" and a friend. When the decision was made that we wanted to sell our store he gave us good counsel and helped in many ways. I know how losing such a light can be for your entire family and what a void it leaves, but you will carry him in your heart forever. I lost my Tom last November and although there is something everyday that reminds me of him, I find it easier as the days go on. The hard edges of grief are slowly softening and I pray it will be the same for all of you. God bless you all and thank you for sharing this wonderful man with all of us.

I extend my sympathies to Tom's family. I was an SAE brother of Tom's, one year behind him at USD. He was a great character, very memorable. He was one who could get on the Brothers to do the right thing without push back from the Brothers because of the respect he carried with us all. I have not had contact with Tom, other than exchanging an email a few months back, but always smile when i think of his smile and wit. May God take Tig into Heaven and grant comfort to you, his family, in your memories.

Hi - Tom and I were in Central High track together. We were on some of the same relay teams. It was always reassuring to be on a team with him because you knew that whatever leg of the race he ran, he would usually out-run the competition. He was a great team mate - always very encouraging.

Tom is/was a great man. As I'd be walking down the alley behind their house on the way to the 'Y' to workout, I'd often see Tom in his backyard either grilling (with his former 'chain gang' referees, etc.) or mowing. I'd greet him with a, "Hi Tommy," followed by banter and a joke or 2. I'd also see him out walking. I'm gonna miss those times seeing him. My condolences go out to the family; Sorry for your loss Guhin family!

I got to know Tom from his many, and I mean many trips to kesslers. He always loved coming many times to the store. That's where he would educate me on Old Milwaukee and keep me up to date on roncalli sports. We had a lot of banter back in forth about out two favorite team Michigan and Notre Dame. I was fortunate to bartend for many events he was at. Weather it was rotary, NSU, etc he always had a smile and lit yooup the room. One party I decided to surprise him by having old Milwaukee there and he thought tat was so cool. Everybody else was drinking wine, glenlivit, and he had his old Milwaukee. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I was so sorry to learn of Tom's illness & recent passing. I saw him last at Hollis Hurlbert's funeral. He was always such a live wire & just fun to be around. I always treasure those SAE days & Tiger was certainly a part of it. He was an Aberdeen guy his whole life. I am grateful he chose to spend a few years at USD with the brothers at SAE. It is a sad time, but he lived life fully & made a positive impact on whatever he was doing. Margaret, my best wishes & prayers go out to you & your family. I will miss him.
