There absolutely could not be a better neighbor than your Mom and your family. Memories of those years are so very precious to me and have not been replicated. Have thought of her often and know now that she rests in the arms of our Lord. She loved the life and the family she was given by her Savior.

I spent a lot of time with the Marske's growing up. Marie was always welcoming in her home. I remember "overnighters" falling asleep to the sound of her sewing machine! She always amazed me, because somehow, with only 24 hours in a day..she always seemed to "do it all"! Home cooked meals, raising the kids, (and many of us friends!) and so many community events...all with a smile. She was an amazing woman who has given me some wonderful childhood memories. She will be remembered fondly.

Coleen and Family, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. May the memories of your mother fill your hearts and give you comfort. I always enjoyed seeing your mom when she came to visit you Coleen. I remember her wonderful laugh and her friendly smile. You are all very blessed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marie one summer when she was in Sioux Falls for her annual scrabble tournament with Coleen. She was anxious for the contest to begin and I think she beat Coleen by a narrow margin.

May you feel God's comfort and grace in the days ahead.
