     Francis "Frank" Wolf, 62, of Richmond Lake, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.

     His memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 18, 2017, at Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, with Father David Janes officiating.

     Frank’s wishes were to be cremated.  Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Aberdeen.

     A luncheon and time of fellowship will immediately follow the interment at: 127148 West Shore Drive at Richmond Lake.  All family and friends are welcome to attend.

         Francis Jerald “Frank” Wolf was born January 27, 1955, in Leola, SD to Joseph and Margaret (Salwei) Wolf.  He attended St. Mary’s Parochial School and Aberdeen public schools.  Frank was employed at Safety Service for a short time before moving to Seattle, Washington, where he worked for Pac Care and built trains.  He later began working for a commercial roofing firm and was promoted to foreman.  In 1983, Frank had an industrial accident that rendered him disabled.  He returned to Aberdeen at that time.  Frank moved to Richmond Lake in 2001 and continued to reside there until the time of his death.

     Frank was an avid sportsman and loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and boating.

     Thankful for sharing Frank’s life are his children, Steven Wolf and Kevin Wolf, both of Oregon; his brothers:  Mike (Shirley) Wolf of Washington, and Kenneth Wolf and Daniel (Carol) Wolf, both of Aberdeen; his sisters:  Mary Malsom of Aberdeen, Walburga Johnson of Seattle, WA, and Rose (Ray) Durband of Aberdeen; as well as many nieces and nephews.

     Frank is preceded in death by his son, Bryan Wolf; his parents, Joseph and Margaret Wolf; two brothers, Joe Wolf and Thomas Wolf; and three sisters:  Lorraine Geffre, Marie Geffre and Margaret Montaque.
