Andrew Gregory Geffre entered the world three and a half months premature and thus, was born in Sioux Falls, SD on August 18, 1992, to Fred L. and Jolene (Voelker) Geffre.  He was raised in Aberdeen and attended Roncalli from kindergarten until his high school graduation with The Class of 2011.  Following graduation, Andrew worked various jobs around Aberdeen.

Andrew was very inquisitive and loved puzzles that were challenging, especially the Rubik’s Cube (which he became quite skilled at solving).  He also enjoyed learning and performing card tricks.  In his spare time, Andrew could be found playing video games or watching his favorite television show, “Everybody Loves Raymond”.  He was a kind-hearted, young man and a true animal lover.  Above all, Andrew loved his family and greatly looked forward to family vacations, especially outings in The Black Hills.  Andrew will be remembered for his quick wit and dry sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Grateful to have shared in Andrew’s life are his parents, Fred and Jolene Geffre of Aberdeen; three brothers:  Nathan Geffre and Jared Geffre, both of Aberdeen and Eric Johnson of Clark, SD; one sister, Emily (Jacob) Womack of Brookings, SD; his paternal grandmother, Marva Lou Geffre of Aberdeen; and his maternal grandmother, Marilyn (James) Voelker-Tucek of Mitchell, SD.

Andrew is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Geffre and his maternal grandfather, George Voelker.
